In response to several requests, a special “end-of-the-year” brunch for past (’07) and future (’08) participants in the Secret Prayer Partner program will be held on Sunday, January 27th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Prayer partners can be revealed then if desired, or if they have already been revealed, they can use this opportunity to get better acquainted. An explanation of the Prayer Partner program will be shared, and new partners for this next year will be drawn. Plan now to attend! Check the bulletin board at church for more information OR call Charlene Perry or Roe Schmoock.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY IN NEW ORLEANS IN MARCH!

The Christian Outreach Board has arranged a New Orleans mission trip for March 24-30, to help in the rebuilding and clean-up efforts still going on there after hurricane Katrina. Space for 10 volunteers from our church is reserved at Camp Restore, the Schmoock’s former church and school which has been converted into a dormitory and volunteer headquarters. Volunteers will be responsible for their trip costs, which will be approximately $600-700 per person. Volunteers should be in good health and at least 18 years of age. More information and a sign-up list are in the narthex. Check with Roe Schmoock if you have questions (245-6712), or go to the Camp Restore website to see what is involved (www.camprestore.org).
